EXOTICUS, A CHARMING RESTAURANT
Exoticus, a charming restaurant is one of the places that most transports you within the refined atmosphere of the Resort.
The wonderful indoor room and the romantic courtyard that overlooks the iconic square and are enriched by Indian manufacturing furnishings and precious fabrics that recall the exotic nature of a North African villa, enhancing an unforgettable gourmet dining experience, guided by a refined cuisine which is fresh and simple at the same time.
Dishes are prepared with passion by the talented Executive Chef Mattia Abatiello, accompanied by his brigade, who pays homage to Italian and Sardinian cuisine, offering a menu with a sophisticated Oriental contamination, which pays tribute to the exotic spirit of the restaurant and the strong creativity of the Chef.
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the Restaurant comes alive with themed four-course menus (traditional Sardinian, Italian and seafood dinners), celebrating the flavors and traditions of Sardinia and Italy (included for Guests staying on half board; €60.00 per person for Guests staying on a bed and breakfast basis or for external visitors).

MATTIA ABATIELLO, EXECUTIVE CHEF
Born in 1988, Sardinian on his mother’s side, from Campania on his father’s side and with Ligurian grandparents, Mattia is the chef of perfect contamination, bringing the flavours of his origins and of Sardinia to marry perfectly with the exotic and oriental tastes embraced by the restaurant, giving life to simple dishes that are rich in flavour and passion, which tell every stage of his personal and professional experiences, which have led him to travel in search of new ingredients and innovative cooking methods.

SIGNATURE DISHES
Mattia Abatiello loves to exalt the values of cuisine made of simple raw materials with creations that perfectly convey the Exoticus philosophy, drawing exotic contaminations from near North Africa to faraway Japan, in order to personalise and enhance local flavours. Among his most popular signature dishes are the famous Sardinian culugiones, presented as a ravioli ‘gyoza’, the handmade filindeu, presented as ‘ramen’ or the cascà tabarchino, the famous couscous from Carloforte.

Exoticus opens up to various sensory aspects, not only related to taste, to discover colours, shapes and designs that are at the same time unique, handcrafted and exotic. The luminous bodies in Sardinian terracotta by the Asseminese artist Walter Usai, the handcrafted chairs from Santa Teresa di Gallura, the tables inlaid by hand in India and the fabrics reminiscent of pachyderm skins, made in Orosei, all tell of an atmosphere of tropical charm that ties in well with Sardinia and its Black and North African cultural invasions.

The always included breakfast is served in* our marvellous and bright Breakfast Room, enriched by precious marble floor. The exquisite decorated room faces the swimming pool and the sea thanks to its big glass walls. A menu à la carte and a delicious assisted buffet allows you to enjoy a very special breakfast in a romantic and elegant atmosphere, listening to classical music, pampered by homemade pastry and delicious delicacies.

Our Bistrot & Bar Jalisco offers freshly prepared dishes in a relaxed poolside setting, including tasty snacks, salads, sandwiches, fresh pasta, seafood and meat starters and main courses, also grilled, all made with high-quality local ingredients. The kitchen is open throughout the day, allowing you to order freely à la carte at any time. In addition to the food selection, guests can enjoy aperitifs and ice cream, served either at the table or directly to the sun loungers in the solarium area.

Enjoy a magic and unique experience having dinner in our temple in the middle of the pool, surrounded by lanterns and live music. Surprise your partner or loved ones with a special invitation, delivered to your room, to this fascinating place in which you will be dining on a design table made out of an ancient root, with a dedicated Maître at your service, just for the two of you. A menu of meat, fish or vegan is prepared with skill by our Chef for this unforgettable evening, accompanied by local wines that will make this moment magical.
A reservation should be done 2 days prior to the desired day. The experience includes: water, wine, custom invitations card and even a present.

Have a pleasant picnic on the beach or in the shade of the palms in our gardens or join an excursion and take with you a rich take-away lunch prepared by our Chef. The packed lunch, together with everything you need for your picnic to be perfect, can be personalized according to your needs and you can choose the food from the several delicacies on our à-la-carte menu.
