Two easy tours are organized in the Flumendosa river, where salt cedar trees, oleanders, ferns and reeds are the right habitat for herons, cormorants, flamingos and hawks and surround the lighthouse in Capo Ferrato and the near Cala Sa Figu with white sand, tall cliffs and turquoise water. The beach “spiaggia della Chavica” or Cala Sa Figu are the last stop of these two tours, where you have the chance to enjoy a delicious appetizer with traditional products in a peaceful and quite atmosphere.

E-BIKE ADVENTURE

During this tour on bike you’ll cross sea, rivers, ponds and hills and visit the most suggestive points of interest of the area while being surrounded by untamed nature. The first stop is Capo Ferrato lighthouse, which is located uphill and from which it’s possible to enjoy the view of the whole area of Muravera. The wild and isolated beaches in Portu d’Illixi and Cala Sa Figu are next on the plan. Both of them nestle between wild cliffs and are surrounded by an inebriating Mediterranean scrub. The tour ends by the wonderful pond Colostrai, the perfect habitat for elegant pink flamingos and the favorite nestling spot for western marsh harriers.

SEA
THE MARINE PROTECTED AREA OF CABO CARBONARA

Navigation along the coast to reach Punta de Is Cappuccinus, where it is possible to photograph the peculiar rock sculptures. The tour continues to Isola dei Cavoli, where we stop to admire the submerged statue of the Virgin of the Sea or, alternatively, visit the lighthouse. We continue the excursion along the coast of Villasimius, with a the beautiful view of Cava Usai, Porto Giunco, Punta Molentis, Punta de Is Proceddus. Then we return to the territory of Castiadas. During navigation, it is possible to swim and dive in the most sheltered and least crowded points.
Masks available on board. In July and August it is possible to visit the lighthouse with the operators of the CEAS. The visit must be paid to the operators. The retourn will be delayed 30 minutes.

THE ISLAND OF SERPENTARA AND THE NATURAL POOL OF VILLASIMIUS

The boat sail down the coast, passing through the beautiful Baia degli Innamorati, famous for its colors that can be admired directly from the boat. Then we sail towards Punta de Is Proceddus, perfect for those who love snorkeling between the rocks. The excursion ends with the famous natural pools of Villasimius, two wonderful and crystalclear coves accessible only by sea.

CAPO FERRATO AND THE BEACH OF FERAXI

The boat sail along the beach of Costa Rei up to Capo Ferrato and its lighthouse. The first stop for a swim is scheduled at Baia delle Anfore, with the possibility of snorkeling to admire some remains of amphorae from the Roman era. We continue the tour towards the beach of Feraxi where, if possible, we will stop. This excursion is recommended for those who can snorkeling and using the mask. The seabed is rocky and beautiful, but from the boat it seems dark; for this reason this excursion is not recommended for children.

CALA PIRA AND THE NATURAL POOL

Sail towards the south along the cliff of Costa Rei. Our skipper will tell you the history and curiosities of the coast and will show you the beautiful beach of Baia degli Innamorati and Punta dei Cappuccini.
The excursion continues towards Cala Pira for a break on the beach. Here it is possible to admire a well-preserved Spanish tower. Then we sail to reach the natural pools of Villasimius, two beautiful coves, accessible only by sea, whose fictitious name evokes the colors of the seabed. Here is scheduled some free time to relax, swim and snorkel, before the return.

TOUR DEI SARACENI

This is the right tour to visit the beautiful bays and little coves in the southeastern coast of Sardinia. The tour starts with a visit to the Tower of Capo Boi, that overlooks the gorgeous beach of Solanas and the bay of Villasimius. The next stop is the headland of Capo Carbonara and its several famous beaches of find sand.
From this point it is possible to admire two ancient Spanish towers from XVII century that dominate the coast. The first one, called tower of Porto Giunco, is located in the homonymous beach, close to Notteri pond, where a colony of flamingos found its home. |The second tower is the imposing tower of Cala Pira, nestled between rocks of granite and century old junipers, that protect its snow white beach.

This tour will be particularly appreciated by nature lovers, who will visit the lagoons of Colostrai and Feraxi, where herons, flamingos and hawks found its home and have been living together with local fishers for centuries.
In Capo Ferrato, considered a real nature wonder thanks to the beautiful places that you can find there such as Baia delle Anfore and Porto s’Ilixi, there is an old Vulcan, that overlooks the beautiful lake, from which salt was once obtained. This salt lake has been guarded for centuries by two towers: Torre di Salinas and Torre dei Dieci Cavalli. The latter was built along what it is called the “royal street” that leads to the little villages in the hinterland of Sarrabus.

VISITING THE THREE BEACHES

This tour will take you to the most beautiful and fascinating beaches of Sardinia. The first stop is Porto Giunco bay, known for its fine white sand and the turquoise water. The bay is sheltered from the wind, surrounded by sand dunes and watchtowers.
The second stop is the beach of Villa Rei, where a small break is planned to give you the chance to dive into the crystal clear water. You will then reach the wonderful beach of Piscina Rei, where the emerald green of the water contrasts with the golden yellow of the sand and the green of the junipers that surround the beach.

CULTURE
ARCHAEOLOGICAL TOUR NURAGHE ARRUBIU

The street of the Flumendosa valley leads to the Orroli plateau, where the archeological site of the Arrubiu Nuraghe is located. The nuraghe, the only one surrounded by walls with five towers on each side, it’s the biggest one discovered so far. The big archeological complex is made of huge rocks of red basalt, covered by lichens (the word Arrubbiu means indeed red), and overlooked by a 14 m tall central tower. This defense system was able to guarantee the safety of the inhabitants who lived during the XIV century AD in huts surrouding the fortress.
At the arrival the payment of an entrance fee is requested.

OLD CITY CENTER IN CAGLIARI

After leaving the hotel, you will drive along the road that skirts the Poetto
Beach and the Oasis of Molentargius, where flamingos find shelter to nest. You will first stop near the Sanctuary of Nostra Signora di Bonaria, on the top of Bonaria hill. The second stop is the Castello district, the beating heart of the city, where you can admire the Pisan Towers of S. Pancrazio and the Elephant, the Cathedral of Santa Maria and the Bastion of San Remy. During this interesting tour, it is possible to admire many different architectural styles and ceilings covered with 500 always different rose windows.
